Outset India was founded in 2011 by Feroze Gujral. It is a philanthropic organization dedicated to providing a platform for contemporary art in India, and for Indian artists abroad. The organization aims to offer vital support for artists and art organizations at an exciting time for contemporary art in India. Our activities will include the production of new works, public donations and publications.
We aim to create a group of patrons seeking a deeper engagement with contemporary art. Through a programme of tours, trips and events Outset patrons will forge strong relationships with artists, curators and art world professionals both in India and internationally.
